I'm taking Bloom True: the e-course by Flora Bowley starting today

I’m very excited to start the Bloom True: the e-course by Flora Bowley today. I have been following Flora’s art for some time and love her use of color and imagery! She inspires me with her work and lifestyle of travel, teaching and creating the life that she wants. So go to her website and check out the e-course. I think she will inspire you too.

This is where I’ll be creating my work in my art studio.

I took a few photos of some of the things in it.

One of my fav tools is string.

I have one of my creativity cards from my inspirational card deck on my shelf that reminds me that creativity is part of my life. I believe one’s self-talk is important so I made this card deck to remind myself about thinking positive and affirming a creative life.

A fav quote that I picked up somewhere a long the line. I think it was at someone’s open studio event.

Because We Grow Old,
We Grow Old Because
We Quit Playing.

I really like your blog post, it reminds me, I was totally speaking with my good friend about this subject just last night. Ends up she’d been hoping to hire a painter and was worried about the time to look up, contact and screen painters (understandable) that is until she discovered this cool site. Just thought I’d share it here if it turns out someone else has no time at all for that work either!

It’s a gorgeous, happy place. I adore the chair. I have always adored the chair. Someday, for my birthday, I want you to make me a chair. But it better be soon or it better be a rocking flipping chair. Or a saddle. Maybe a saddle would keep me playing. I love that string is one of your tools. I am beginning to love the word tool.
